Each medal it is an honor for the nation. Each gold medal is a celebration for everyone. But the gold medal of the CHILDREN Curling at the Olympics is truly something exceptional. If only for the numbers. Italian curling has given a huge record to the whole of Italy.

To date, in fact, the Curling it is a sport practically unknown to most in the beautiful country. Suffice it to say that Italy is one of the countries with fewer members of this sport, but it is the one that has risen to the top of the podium. In Italy there are only 333 members of Curling: it is already a number that thus suggests that they are few. But you don't really realize how few there are without having a term of comparison. So, here are the comparisons:

  • In Canada, the members are 2 million:
  • negli Use there are about 20 thousand;
  • in Scotland they are 15 thousand;
  • in Sweden 7 thousand;
  • in Russia 6 thousand;
  • In China, Switzerland, Japan, Norway, Germany, Finland, Denmark there are 2.

In short, Stefania Costantini and Amos Mosaner have accomplished one of the greatest feats of Italian sport ever.
