The photographs become protagonists starting from the "People" section, dedicated to workplaces as pivots of a system of social relations. The sections follow “Do” and “Products”, which develop around the work of people, the production process and its result. The Nine hundred sees the structure of industrial districts, automation takes over the assembly line, new materials and technologies allow for an increasingly effective response to the needs of the various eras and consumer tastes. Companies perceive the importance of communicating on the market, adopt marketing strategies and develop advertising campaigns that we find in the section "Tell each other". The exposition then continues with i "Landscapes”. The section photographs the imprint that progressive industrialization first, and then growing environmental awareness, have left on the territory.
