Claudia Cardinale The Indomitable. It is the title of the book that will be presented at the Barberini cinema in Rome on January 19th. The volume was published by Cinecittà-Electa and is edited by the daughter of the actress Claudia Squitieri. The illustrated text traces the important stages in the life of the great actress together with the films that made her an icon of international cinema. The book will also be presented at the MoMA in New York, as part of a review of the film of the actress, scheduled from 3 to 21 February next. The actress herself will be the guest of honor at the event, curated by Claudia Squitieri.

In addition, the screening in the restored edition of de The girl from Bube(1963) by Luigi Comencini. The film is inspired by the homonymous novel by Carlo Cassola winner of Strega Award. The girl from Bube of Comencini won a Donatello's David, two Silver ribbons for the producer Franco Cristaldi and for Claudia Cardinale; and also one Grolla d'Oro always the protagonist. The initiative will be preceded by the video installation A Female Cardinal by Manuel Perrone (2023). It is a six-minute short that highlights the uniqueness of the Tunisian-born actress: a sequence of the most important frames that are an integral part of the history of cinema.
