A sublime string music spreads under the vaults of a frescoed ceiling. It is not a dream. But the experience you can try attending one of the concerts of the de The Dimore del Quartetto. It is scheduled in some ancient Tuscan residences, among brown hills dotted with cypresses and green hills covered with vines and olive trees, solitary farms and ancient villages. Involved in the network of the concert circuit is the Bibbiano estate, in the territory of Castellina in Chiant, the main center of Sienese Chianti.
Moving south of Siena, another concert location is the bel Castle of San Fabiano, in the heart of the Crete Senesi. An area of rounded hills, engraved on the sides by clayey gullies, with colors ranging from ocher yellow to brown.
The villages in the area are worth a visit, such as buonconvento e San Giovanni d'Asso. And, going up the Ombrone Valley, theAbbey of Monte Oliveto Maggiore, which dominates the Crete from the top of an almost inaccessible cliff. Still inhabited by monks, it is rich in art treasures, such as the frescoed cloister.

At the end of August, however, the Merano Music Weeks take place, an International Festival of classical music also open to “intertwining” with other genres. World-famous orchestras and soloists play in the liberty-style halls of the Puccini Theater and the Kurhaus, the symbolic building of the city. And chapel music is performed in historic locations such as Castel Tirolo and Castello di Scena.

For some years Locorotondo, the small town in the Itria Valley belonging to the association "The most beautiful villages in Italy", has become a small capital of "indie" music under the skies of the Murge.
Until the middle of August, the Locus Festival brings together interesting new realities of the international music scene. The town is delightful, with its stone “narrow streets” and white houses on which the sloping roofs rise, embellished with wrought iron balconies and geraniums.

From the lively Adriatic towns to the inland villages, the Marche is ready to welcome tourists. To contribute to the rebirth of the areas hit by the 2016 earthquake, the Marche-based artist Neri Marcorè organized the Solidarity Festival Resurrect Marche.
The free concerts will be held in daylight on meadows and clearings of mountain parks, such as the Ragnolo plains, the Rocca Colonnalta mountain, the Montelago plateau. It can be reached on foot or by bike. Nearby will be set up "islands of taste" with typical agri-food products.
