The initiative returns with great success Cinema in celebration which proposes the new movie releases at the promotional price of 3 euros throughout Italy in order to promote the seventh art and increase audiences in cinemas.
Cinema in celebration, the initiative
This is an initiative promoted by ANICA, ANEC, the David di Donatello Foundation, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, now in its second edition. The project was born from the collaboration between distributors and cinemas to offer Italian spectators a twelve-month film season with a varied offering to satisfy all tastes.
“Cinema Revolution – What a Show in the Summer”
This initiative is linked to the campaign “Cinema Revolution – What a Show in the Summer”, supported by MiC, which allowed some first screenings of Italian and international films at promotional prices to bring the public back to cinemas.
The project led to a significant increase in spectators between June and August compared to previous years which were also characterized by a lower influx of users due to the pandemic.
The project was launched in 2022, and will continue until 2026: every year, in June and September, for five days from Sunday to Thursday.
