The Bucci family has been involved in agriculture since the eighteenth century and owns an area of ​​350 hectares with diversified productions. Of these 25 hectares are destined to vineyards for the production of Verdicchio and to a lesser extent of Rosso Piceno, using biological techniques also for their own oil pressed on site.

Villa Bucci Verdicchio di Jesi Reserve it is a white wine with the characteristics of a red. It should not be served cold but fresh from the cellar or even a few degrees higher. Refine in wooden barrels and in bottles. When tasted, it shows an intense bright straw yellow color.

Founded in 1949, the winery has long been identified with Verdicchio, both for the choice of producing it in purity, and for the characteristic amphora bottle that was associated with this wine in Italy and abroad.

Although today the house produces the most sought-after Verdicchio, the one that is still marketed today in a redesigned Titulus amphora bottle deserves space.

The scent is a mix of hints of peach, pear and rose. The flavor is fresh, immediate, with a final note of bitter almond.

The company extends over 230 hectares of which 30 are vineyards where, in addition to Verdicchio, the Sangiovese, Montepulciano and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are grown.

In particular, the Verdicchio di Jesi Misco Riserva ages for 12 months in steel tanks and then in the bottle for at least as long. When tasted it has an intense straw color. A toasted note is perceived on the nose.

It smells of ripe summer fruit and releases hints of white flowers and broom. The flavor is full, with hints of Mediterranean scrub, good minerality and persistence.

Umani Ronchi Company owns between territories

The company owns three territories: Castles of Jesi, Conero and Abruzzo with an extension of 210 hectares.

Verdicchio grapes from Castelli di Jesi, grown on a strip of land that stretches from the Adriatic coast to reach the Apennines, give life to several labels.

The Classico Superiore Vecchie Vigne Casal di Serra is produced from grapes of vines planted in the early seventies; the harvest takes place in October when the grapes have reached full ripeness. The wine ages for about ten months in concrete tanks.

At the tasting it has memories of wild flowers, broom and ripe fruit.
