Salernitana's fine arrives for the Boulaye Dia striker. A very heavy fine considering that the player will have his next monthly salary deducted by 15% (around 30 thousand euros). According to the Granata owner the matter will be resolved and - therefore - Boulaye Dia will return to play with Salernitana.
On Radio Bussola, President Iervolino said: “I will personally get involved and talk to Dia. These are things that happen in football, the player hearing the bells of the Premier League would perhaps have wanted to leave, but he's in, they are young and we must never stifle the expectations of young people. We have invested a lot in him, he is an important player and I am convinced that the case will be resolved. Of course, it would be better if it hadn't happened, but let's not make a drama out of it. Fine? It seems like the right thing to me, Salernitana is a serious club, it loves and protects its players, we are kind but we have rules that must apply to everyone."
