“Borders separate, nature unites”. The motto of the European Green Belt becomes the common thread of the Blue Notte Gorizia Festival, scheduled in the Friulian town from 22 July to 30 September next.

Blue Night. The review, now in its eleventh edition, alongside the musical component, with a proposal jazz and blues of international importance, it provides various historical-naturalistic appointments to make the long territory known the former iron curtain. The event also has a call for tenders to select 5 young European journalists who will be in the Gorizia and Nova Gorica area in September. The new reporters, for a week, will talk about GO!2025, the only cross-border city without borders. To inaugurate the event, on 22 July at 9.30, a historic bicycle excursion "From Piazza Transalpina to Castle of Rubbia" straddling between Italy and Slovenia.

On July 28 at 21, in the square in front of the Coronini palace in Šempeter pri Gorici, the Rozedales will take the stage. It is a French band that conquered the international blues scene in 2017, with the albums Long way to go and Wide Awake. On July 29th at 21 pm, in Piazza della Vittoria a Gorizia, Kyla Brox, one of the most significant voices of the European blues, will perform. The festival then resumes in late August. On August 25th at 19 pm the Zoff farm in Borgnano di Cormons will host the Mina Project of the Lorena Favot Duo. The Riccardo Chiarion Trio will perform on 9 September at 21 pm at the Carso in Corso di Monfalcone. Finally, on 16 September, a historical naturalistic excursion between Gorizia and Nova Gorica is scheduled. We will go to the discovery of the artifacts and historical testimonies related to the period of Cold War.
