Italy Loves Romagna
After the floods of the last few weeks, the “Italia Loves Romagna” concert has been announced, the first fundraising event in the world of music. The initiative, which boasts the support of the Ministry of Culture, is in favor of the flooded populations. Waiting to know the official nature of all the names, it is difficult to think that Ligabue, from Emilia and has always been the owner of the house in Campovolo, is not there. That same Rcf Arena in Reggio Emilia which on 9 and 10 June, shortly before, will host the concert of another exceptional Emilian such as Zucchero once again it is difficult to think that he could desert the charity appointment for his region. But it will not be the only solidarity event.
Even the mayors and presidents of the Province of Ravenna, of the new district of Imolese, the mayor of Metropolitan city of Bologna, and the presidents of the Provinces of Forlì-Cesena and Rimini they launched an appeal. Invitation to which Laura Pausini immediately accepted. The goal is always to stage a major fundraising event for people affected by the flood. It will be called Music Valley-Romagna Mia, Live Charity Concert and will be held on August 5 at theAutodromo Internazionale Enzo and Dino Ferrari of Imola. Pausini joined the social networks immediately: “My Romagna is calling. I'm here, I'm waiting for you”, wrote the artist who recently posted links to join the fundraisers.
“I have decided to donate my cachet from the 3 concerts to Venice to the towns of Solarolo (where I grew up), Castelbolognese (where my parents live) and Faenza (where I was born and where my sister lives). These are the three countries to which my story is most closely linked and which have been affected by this tragedy. I'm back on stage after 4 years and I want to do it by dedicating my voice to my people". Membership via social networks also for Samuele Bersani, while Cristina D'Avena writes: "How could I not be there". Who knows if Gianna Nannini will also be there, who posted a video in which she sings Romagna mia "with her heart in Romagna".
