Feast of the Adultissimi

The “Adultissimi” festival is undoubtedly the most important for us. A healthy moment of being together between different generations that often divide the frenzy and rhythms of modern society. With the sad consequence that the young and the elderly do not communicate with each other. And therefore they are unable to get rich with each other.

There is a lot of talk about the elderly as a living resource but without demonstrations of concrete attention, so there is only a lot of philosophizing left. With the “Adultissimi” festival, which we organize every year in San Mazzeo, we try to give a few happy days to our elders. Who reciprocate with a smile, which repays us for any organizational sacrifice.

Especially rewarding are their distillates of wisdom and history that attract the interest of many young people and that make you feel proud of having done something for them.

Volunteer Festival

It is a day dedicated to aggregation, fun and direct contact with the unspoiled nature of San Mazzeo. The program offered to the many participants from various surrounding countries is very rich and highly appreciated. The event has now risen to the rank of a fixed appointment.

From early morning the volunteers open a well-equipped playground to the delight of the little ones. This is made even more joyful by the presence of waders, jugglers and balloon sculptors. Also enriched by a fascinating magic show, an exciting attraction especially in the many elderly and children who come to spend a different day a day full of joy.

In the afternoon, the show offered by the "Giants of Vibo Marina" who, followed by all those present, parade through the streets during the event, cheering, with their dances, an audience of children and adults and marking the streets of the country with a deafening sound of drums that precedes the advance of the giants.
