Da Torino a Milano in 21 days, crossing the beautiful country, for a total of 3.450 km. Giro d'Italia 2021 will depart from the city that was there first capital, on the occasion of the 160th anniversary ofUnification of Italy. This is the second Giro marked by the Covid-19that last year, just because of the lockdown, the Giro d'Italia took place in the month ofOctober. This year we will start again in spring, like a flower that blooms after the great winter. Participating will be 184 cyclists, divided in 23 teams (8 for each team). There will be some big of the 2 wheels, including Vincenzo Nibali (the shark), who won his last pink jersey in 2016 and Filippo Gana, winner of 4 stages al Giro d'Italia 2020.
All the stages of the Giro d'Italia 2021
The 1st stage of the Giro d'Italia 2021 will start the8st May a Torino, 9 km time trial. The 2nd stage on 9st May, it will be a path of 173 km, from Amaze you a Novara. The 3rd stage, of 10st May, it will be one 187 km, from Biella a Canale. THE'11st May it will be the 4th stage Piacenza-sestola, of 186 km. 12st May it will be the 5th stage Modena - Catholic, of 171 km. The 6rd stage, of 13st May It will be there Genga - Ascoli, of 150 km. 14st May it will be the turn of the 7th stage, notaresco -Termoli, of 178 km. The 8th stage, the 15st May, will start from Puglia and it will be there Foggia - Guardia Sanframondi di 173 km. A Giro full of anniversaries
The Giro d'Italia 2021 (now in its 104th edition) will remember the 100 anniversary since the birth of the national team coach Alfredo Martini, in the 12th stage (Bartali stage). This is however also the 90esimo anniversary of the famous pink jersey (for the color of the Journal of Sport), introduced in 1931 and first worn by Laercus War, winner of the first stage of that year.
