The duecanneroll was born from the need to make people sensitive to the eyes of the society in which I live. A misrepresented and often misinterpreted theme.
The title stands for “Rolla due canne”. The subtitle “much more than a trip” instead highlights the core of the pages. In fact, although structured by an external frame in which three teenagers meet every afternoon to "put two rods around", what follows are stories that the protagonists themselves imagine and write in black and white to give life to six stories different, each having a morality of its own.
The references to Boccaccio are obvious. How do the dynamics of the book dissolve?
The title recalls Boccaccio's Decameron through assonance. This is because it is based on a similar structure.
Three girls fleeing the plague of the soul. Unrequited loves, grief, envy, diversity and everything that somehow tends to hurt the sensitivity of girls my age. Who find themselves disoriented when, with a lot of ingenuity, they find themselves observing the external dynamics which then inevitably affect their own lives. Sometimes it is really possible to intuit personalities, and in the “duecanneroll” they are all noticeable if you approach the text with a little tact. Melancholy, indecision, boredom, apathy. But above all the desire to break free from a social structure that somehow holds us with chained wings and deprives us of taking flight.

What can you tell young people like you who abuse drugs?
Of course, mine is not an invitation to use drugs. Although in other countries it is not considered as such, in Italy marijuana is a drug. As such, those who use it must consider the consequences that could exist.
The three protagonists demonstrate that they are able to recognize what is right and what is wrong within society. They are certainly not the "drug addicts" that one is led to believe.
They know how to have fun and they know the limit very well. To the point of knowing how to stop without creating your own addiction to a joint. Before considering that marijuana is illegal and calculating the problems that follow through the law, you need to remember yourself and take care of your well-being.
It is my little way to lower the blinders to the respectable who are, it should be said, a bundle of all the grass.
