A team of experts and volunteers is fighting relentlessly and against time to launch a solution to prevent and monitor the contagion risk of COVID-19. The mobile App of Italian origin, addressed to all countries or individual communities of people, it is called Reticle.

Reticle

Lattice is a unique combination of different solutions designed to allow at the same time to: identify asymptomatic people, track and identify people with symptoms, creating risk indices based on the encounters each user had with other people in the last few days, also indicating the social danger of users given previous contacts with sick people or people with high risk potential.

The App also allows you to send notifications in real time to users, suggesting the behaviors to be followed in the event of encounters with subjects at risk. At the base of the algorithms various parameters are analyzed, among which the close distances between users, their state of health, the time of contacts occurred at short distances.

In order to deliver reliable results and be efficient, Lattice requires massive user participation to support the so-called “network effect”, while also offering benefits within individual communities. The Lattice team, currently focused on the calibration of the algorithms used by the App, aims to release a first version within ten days, continuing to work on its improvement over time. The App was conceived and designed by the founder of Pickoin ed Amagis Capital, a company active in Fintech, with the support of people from the Amagis team and outside Amagis, also from the new Heart4Earth Foundation, which deals with social issues.

Available for free

Reticle will be downloadable from Google Play ed Apple Store, for free. The initiative was born from the commitment and participation of non-profit volunteers. If the App were to become a useful tool to counter COVID-19 on a technological level, the initiative will have to be adequately supported financially to support the costs associated with the use of computing and database resources largely linked to the fact that Lattice uses, for a fee, technological resources of the Amazon platform, AWS.

We believe that this App can make a difference in the fight against Coronavirus. We will let you know promptly when it is available.
