Tacconi, born in 1957, porter originally from Perugia, he was one of the strongest and longest-lived champions of Italian football.
He was one of the strongest full backs of the last few decades and he is remembered above all with the shirt Juventus, but he also played inAvellino and in Genoa, as well as in the Blue national team. Stefano is the only goalkeeper at having won all the major competitions.
He hung up his boots in 1992, proposing himself as a TV personality with the participation in various reality shows including L'Isola dei Famosi in 2003, columnist and embarked on a political career.
Stefano Tacconi's illness
On 23 April 2022, the former goalkeeper was hit by a brain aneurysm and immediately taken to theAlexandria hospital and hospitalized in the ward of Neurosurgery with serious impairments. The recovery process was gradual. Important is the presence of one of his sons Andrea who followed and helped him after a year and a half of hospitalizations in Alessandria, Milan and San Giovanni Rotondo. Andrea documented all his father's small progress on social media.
The first public outing
Tacconi's improvements were gradual thanks to rehabilitation therapy, so much so that he was able to go out publicly. In the past few hours, Stefano Tacconi, together with his family, had dinner at a restaurant in San Giovanni Rotondo appearing, despite the impossibility of walking, improved. Immediately after dinner with family and friends, Tacconi returned to his room in the hospital of Padre Pio where he followed.
The apparition immediately aroused surprise and wonder. The sportsman who never gave up, has shown everyone his tenacity and desire to lead a normal life despite the difficulties he faces with the love of his loved ones.
