Palermo returns to winning ways after a month and a half. The last time they won against Brescia was on November 8th. A long, very long period, which distanced Mr. Corini a lot from the fans who strongly contested him, asking not only for the club to be sacked but also for the coach himself to resign.
Palermo now seventh in the standings
Palermo is now seventh in the standings with 28 points and the fans hope that they can slowly get back on top and aim for the top positions which today seem closer, also thanks to the defeats of Venezia, Catanzaro and Como and the draw by league leaders Parma.
A period, therefore, emotionally very stressful for Mr. Corini who has always declared that Palermo is practically his home. Perhaps precisely because of this stress accumulated at the final whistle the Palermo coach exploded in collective hugs and with a visibly moved face, as appears in the photo published on the club's Instagram profile.
