As many as 30 fake 20 euro banknotes and 600 euros were stolen from the bar in just a few minutes. The complaint is from Marco Valsecchi, entrepreneur and manager of the Lecco stadium bar.

“For most of the match they only bought bottles of water costing one euro with 20 euro notes, so they could get the 19 euros back in change. This little game made us suspicious, we looked at the banknotes better and noticed that they were fake."

This is Valsecchi's shocking statement to La Provincia, with reference to the Lecco-Bari match.

The bar closed during Lecco-Bari

Valsecchi continues: “So halfway through the second half we closed the bar in the guest sector. For those who work all day it is humiliating to deal with people like that. It is the second time this has happened to us, it had previously happened during the return playoff final against Foggia. In that case, however, those who worked in the guest sector were victims of very aggressive attitudes and for this reason we had to close the bar an hour before the start of the match. So if there are still away fans complaining about being out of beer for the whole match, now they know why. The Bari fans didn't create any problems, there were many of them and almost all of them consumed a lot and paid regularly. Unfortunately, however, only characters like this make the news."
