Over 7 linear meters, about 600 distributed portions, 70 kg the final weight and about forty members and volunteers of Ristoworld Italy, engaged in the realization of the final product with the support and presence of the students of the Hotel Schools of Catania Pestalozzi and Fermi -Eredia.
These are the final numbers of the cake made by chefs, pastry chefs and volunteers of Ristoworld Italy, the cooking association that deals with the enhancement of Made in Italy and which took to the field alongside the Telethon Foundation in the event that has just ended in Catania and who experienced the key event in Piazza Università. Official partner of the company Mr. Food Sicily, sponsor and certified supplier of first choice quality ingredients.
«Living this event next to the Telethon Foundation - declares Marcello Proietto di Silvestro, president of Ristoworld Italy - was a privilege. Research returns hope and gives a smile and the Ristoworld Emergency volunteers once again took to the field: it is they, the generous White Berets, cooks and pastry chefs who solicited the donation by making this cannolo cake, which thus becomes a formidable testimonial of the solidarity of the people of Catania and Sicily towards the scientific research of excellence in therapies accessible to all ».
