Lecco, players' response to Di Nunno: "disconcerted"
With a note issued by the AIC, the players and coaches of the Lombard club responded to these statements.

“The players and coaches registered with the Calcio Lecco 1912 Srl club express their dismay at the statements made by President Paolo Leonardo Di Nunno after the match played yesterday. His statements regarding the alleged involvement of members in illicit conduct are simply defamatory. No one must or will ever question our commitment to the field, our loyalty and our transparency. We therefore firmly reject the President's allegations, which are damaging to our reputation, words which discredit the work carried out by each individual member of the team and the image of our club as a whole. Our group is united and determined to continue, with the utmost commitment, to chase a salvation that to many seems impossible and to defend the honor of our team, our city and our fans, certain of always being able to honor the shirt that we wear until the last minute."
