Internationally renowned tenor Andrea Bocelli will be the only Italian artist to attend King Charles III's coronation concert in the grounds of Windsor Castle. For the Italian artist it is a great performance that joins last year's exhibition for the Platinum Jubilee of the Queen Elizabeth II, always at London. In addition to Bocelli there will be, among others, Take That, Lionel Richie and Katy Perry.
Andrea Bocelli will perform for King Charles III
The tenor has already performed for several American presidents from Obama to Bush, up to Biden. He sang for three pontiffs; with his powerful voice he kicked off the Olympic Games and the World Cup. Much loved in England, Bocelli will perform a duet with his historic friend and baritone sir Bryn Terfel. “I have had the great honor of singing for HM Queen Elizabeth II on several occasions – Bocelli declared – It is now another great honor to be invited to perform at the coronation concert of King Charles III. My joy and enthusiasm were multiplied when I learned of the possibility of dueting with my dear friend and superb baritone, Sir Bryn Terfel, performing an iconic song of collective solidarity”.
