One is the undisputed legend of Italian rock, the other one of the most important rappers of our country. Vasco Rossi and Marracash they collaborated for the first time. The result? An extraordinary song, entitled "Rain on Sundays".
Vasco Rossi and Marracash, the collaboration for Ukrainian children
It was Blasco himself, through his social profiles, to announce the release of the new piece for March 25, with the proceeds destined for the association Save the Children in aid of Ukrainian children. A noble gesture for the two musicians, who did not spare each other compliments through their social profiles. These are the words of Vasco Rossi's rocker about Marracash: “I like Marracash. He was born at the time of rap but has the pen of a songwriter ". The rapper's reply was: “I have always considered Vasco one of the greatest poets of the 900th century, one who taught everyone to write three-dimensional songs and for this reason he is my personal favorite author ever”.
Words of esteem
The Blasco continues: “When he asked me to sample Gli Angeli for a song from his new album, I found his work very interesting and from there came the idea of entrusting him with The Rain on Sundays. An authentic contamination with an artistic sense emerged. Marra perfectly hit the ironic and frustrated spirit of the song, with its original and coherent lyrics ". Words of absolute esteem those of the rocker from Zocca, which can only please the rapper who grew up with "Brava Giulia" or "There are those who say no". Vasco Rossi and Marracash have decided to donate all the earnings that will derive from "The rain on Sundays" to "Save the Children", the organization that has been at the forefront of helping children involved in wars for over 100 years. In this case, the aid will go to the children of Ukraine, the country where Save the Children opera since 2014. Precisely in this regard, the unprecedented musical couple declared that they took the opportunity to do something useful, defining the gesture as "small" but important in intention.
