Worrying situation in Sicily, where in these minutes a flood is unfortunately occurring in the area of Giarre, in the province of Catania. A violent storm has hit an area of Sicily, causing serious inconvenience and devastation in the municipalities of Giarre and Riposto.
The heavy rainfall, which reached peaks of 400 mm since midnight, caused a rapid rise in water levels, invading roads and homes.
