Lecce is working to build the next Serie A team, the seventeenth for the Salento team.
According to the Gazzetta dello Sport on newsstands today, it is now a two-way race for the role of Lecce goalkeeper. The hot names are that of Simone Scuffet, 26, under contract with Apoel Nicosia and Vito's Mannone, 34, released from Monaco. Mannone never took the field last season. In all likelihood, the next Lecce goalkeeper will be one of these two.
In the background, there is another name, surprisingly (but it is a difficult road), which is that of Mickey Van Der Hart, winner of the Polish championship with Lech Poznan.
