The town of Barumini at the center of the Sardinian cultural tourism expo, scheduled for 2 and 3 December next. The two-day event marks the eighth year of the event and celebrates the 25th anniversary of the inscription of the "Su Nuraxi di Barumini" site in the World Heritage List of theUnesco.

The appointment is organized by Barumini Culture System Foundation and from Municipality of Barumini, Under the patronage of Museum Pole of Sardinia and the collaboration ofAssociation Sardinia towards Unesco. During the two days, topics related to Unesco values for archaeological and cultural sites will be dealt with. Also scheduled is a round table focused on the cardinal principles of Unesco, which will be attended by prestigious guests. The expo will be enriched by the presence of all the cultural sites managed at a regional level and two stands of national and international UNESCO sites. There will also be 22 food and wine and artistic handicraft stands in Barumini, with a selection of the best island products. 14 national and international tour operators will also participate, who will have the opportunity to deal with over 100 companies in the tourism and cultural sector of Sardinia.
The Barumini Expo is proposed once again as an opportunity for exchange and comparison between cultural operators and those in the sectors linked to tourism. Furthermore, as always, the event is characterized by the active participation of guests and tourists in the many activities planned among conferences, workshops, tours, workshops, excursions, demonstrations at the stages of artisanal and food and wine production. The primary purpose is to spread the image of a Sardinia linked to its historical-cultural values which are reflected in the excellent productions of identifying productive sectors.
