A very fragrant cupboard cake and sweet at the right point, which can be prepared (and eaten) in a few minutes! The combination of muscovado and pears is a winner and will appeal to young and old alike.
Time of realization: 40 minutes
Degree of difficulty (1 to 5): 2
18 cm mold
Ingredients
60 g of flour (I used type 1, but 00 is fine too)
15 g of potato starch
1 pinch of salt
5 g of baking powder
1 egg
60 g of butter
50 g of muscovado sugar
1 pear
a few drops of rum essence
For the frosting
60 g of icing sugar
10 g of hot water
a few drops of rum essence
Procedure for making the muscovado cake with pears and rum
Turn on the oven at 180 ° C. In a bowl, sift the flour, starch, baking powder and salt. Whip the soft butter with the muscovado sugar and then incorporate the egg. Mix the flours with the whipped butter, sugar and eggs and add the rum essence. Place in a greased and floured pan. Garnish with the sliced pear arranging them in a radial pattern. Bake for about 20 minutes (if you do the double dose at least 30 minutes).
Prepare the icing by dissolving the icing sugar in the water with the rum essence. Once cold, cut it into slices and serve with the glaze!
