Solar time returns. In the night between Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 October 2022, the hands will go back one hour, exactly from 3 to 2. The days will shorten, in fact we will lose an hour of light in the afternoon, a change that will be rebalanced in the morning, since it will clear sooner. The solar time will be in effect until the end of March next year.
Winter also returns with solar time
Here are some recommendations to get you prepared and make the most of the winter time.
Play in advance. Bring your schedule closer to Easter and rest with future ones, so that the body begins to initiate an adaptation process. It is best to always do this gradually.
Adjust rest times, don't go to bed too early and avoid afternoon naps these days. Avoid stimulating drinks that can disturb sleep for a few days, drink less coffee, or put more milk in your coffee. Don't exercise a lot in the last hours of the day, don't do strenuous exercise in the evening, and prefer early morning if possible.
Large dinners are also to be avoided. Better to eat something light to help you sleep. No evening exposure to electronic devices. Smartphone, television, computers keep us awake and create difficulties at bedtime. And finally, no drugs to help sleep, only natural remedies. If you are not used to sleep medications, this is not a good time to start. Instead, you can practice relaxation exercises, or take natural remedies, such as chamomile, lemon balm or passionflower.
