Great satisfaction for the Institute The "Vincenzo Messina" Comprehensive School in Palazzolo Acreide won first place in the "Stop Addictions: The Courage of Freedom" contest – Graphic Design section. Addictions, a project for schools
Il project The students of the "V. Messina" Comprehensive Institute participated in an awareness program on the risks of drug use. Sara Pirruccio, Leandro Salustro, Elvis Red Fusco Rowlands, Diletta Baglieri, and Giulia Silvestre, the students from classes III A and III B, created a comic book titled "Neighborhood Stories." Starting from listening to the song "Se tornerai" by 883, under the careful guidance of their Literature and Art teachers, Anna Rosetta and Francesca Carpino, they developed a storyboard. They then created five panels depicting the story of two young people who take different paths.

Interdisciplinary project
It was an interdisciplinary effort that not only paid off in terms of recognition from the contest jury, but also provided a significant opportunity for personal growth for the young students, who, incredulous, joyfully attended the awards ceremony.

The event was held on Wednesday, November 5th, at the Città della Notte complex in Augusta. The students qualified for the regional round, which will be held on December 16th in Palermo.
