Sorrento roads, historic cars parade along the Amalfi Coast. From 30 March to 2 April 2023, the vintage racing cars will be on display along a very special itinerary. From the Sorrento peninsula to the Gulf of Naples, continuing along the Palace of Caserta and the Amalfi Coast.
Sorrento Roads
The splendid town of Sorrento is the heart of the event; starting and finishing point on the race days. Lying on the cliff that separates it from the characteristic small port, the historic center is characterized by a maze of narrow streets animated by bars, shops and typical artisans. The walk between Piazza Tasso, the cathedral, the church of San Francesco with the renowned cloister, Corso Italia, the citrus groves. The promenade facing the bay of Naples offers residents and tourists an extraordinary full immersion between the sea, nature and the magnificent villages of the coast.

Spotlight on Golfo di Napoli, universally recognized as one of the most evocative corners of Italy and the planet. Priceless treasures, marvels of antiquity and more recent history as well as fascinating natural sceneries that attract tourists from all over the world every year. With Vesuvius, Capri, Ischia and Procida on the horizon, the gulf has three large inlets: the small bay of Pozzuoli, the port of Naples and the bay of Castellammare. There are two key passages for entry: Bocca Grande, between Ischia and Capri, and Bocca Piccola, between Capri and Punta Campanella.
From the palace to the coast
Designed in the eighteenth century by Luigi Vanvitelli on behalf of Charles III of Bourbon, the Palace of Caserta fully represents the triumph of the Italian Baroque. The beauty of the interior is nothing short of majestic. Rooms made up of the King's and Queen's apartments, the Palatine Library, the Pinacoteca and the Historical Archive. Without forgetting the large park which, divided into an Italian garden and an English garden, has an area of 120 hectares and a length of almost three kilometres. A magnificence reminiscent of that of Palace of Versailles.

La Amalfi Coast, characterized by an unrivaled gastronomic tradition, by towns overlooking the sea and by a historical heritage of inestimable value, extends from Positano to Vietri sul Mare. With its high cliffs, its enchanting coves and small bays, the terraces of citrus fruits, vines, olive trees and artisan shops, it is included in the Unesco World Heritage List. It is a perfect example of a Mediterranean landscape with a scenario of great cultural and natural value.
