The proposal comes from the vice president of Codacons Giuseppe Di Rosa who advanced the idea of rendering to the mayor of the Sicilian city from Agrigento "by adoption" Sophia Loren. Born Sofia Costanza Brigida Villani Scicolone, the actress has a grandfather of noble origins, the marquis of Agrigento Murillo Scicolone. The origins of Sophia Loren
A few months ago the Spanish newspaper "El Pais" published a photo of a little Sofia Scicolone in the arms of her father, the building contractor Riccardo Scicolone of Agrigento origins. Sophia Loren herself had spoken of her father in her autobiography. Sofia Costanza Brigida Villani Scicolone was born in Rome but after a short time he moved to Pozzuoli with his mother, with his maternal family. After spending their childhood and early adolescence, the family moved to Naples with some relatives. After the war, together with his family, he returned to Pozzuoli where his grandmother Luisa opened a piano-bar in the living room. Sophia herself looked after the tables and washed the dishes.
The restaurant in Florence
A few weeks ago Sophia Loren opened in Florence the restaurant “Sophia Loren - Original Italian Food".
