The Snowboard World Cup is scheduled for December 17th and will take place on the slopes of Cortina d'Ampezzo. On the snow of the Tondi del Monte Faloria slope, the international snowboard competition will come to life on the track designed for the parallel giant slalom. On January 28, 2023, in Socrepes always on Dolomites, enthusiasts will be able to follow the men's and women's Snowboardcross race, again for the Snowboarding World Cup. Located on the ski slopes, at the arrival of the Roncato chairlift, the Socrepes refuge is at the foot of the Tofana. The Tofana – Socrepes – Pocol ski area is one of the first to arise in the Alps and is renowned worldwide also because in 1956 it hosted the alpine skiing competitions during the Olympics. Today it is the symbolic place for skiing.
Snowboarding World Cup
For this 2022 edition, the Curtain Foundation supports and co-organizes the race which is a regular stop on the snowboard world cup circuit. An important and very popular appointment, thanks to the excellent technical quality guaranteed by the Cortina Snowboard Club. The program for Saturday 17 December includes qualifying from 14 to 16 pm, with the finals at 18 pm. Commenting on the races also this year, there will be the trio made up of the two speakers Lorenzo Pinciroli, Sara Mastel and Max Benzoni dj.
Max dj will also enliven the evening after the awards of the two finals. Thanks to the collaboration with the plant company del faloria, starting from 17 pm the ascent and descent of the public are guaranteed. A unique opportunity to see champions from 20 countries around the world fly onto the runways. Naturally, the custom of the final to be held in the evening will also be repeated, when the splendid Dolomites will take on iridescent colors tinged with beautiful pink and orange reflections.
