Sky loses Serie A, TV rights assigned to Dazn

The Assembly of the clubs voted in the morning, with 16 votes in favor of Dazn and only 4 for Sky (Sampdoria, Genoa, Sassuolo and Crotone). Therefore, for the three-year period 2021-2024, Dazn will broadcast all 10 matches of the Serie A rounds, of which 7 exclusively and 3 co-exclusive matches with Sky.

To secure the package, Dazn offered around 840 million euros per season. According to Goal.com, it seems that Sky intends to appeal against the decision of Lega Serie A.
