In this period, the Lega Serie A is facing the problem relating to the sale of TV rights. The Lega assembly began today at 13pm and the agenda is obviously the discussion on TV rights.
A decision will certainly not be made today, given that various parameters will have to be evaluated and that the distance between supply and demand is absolutely wide.
Serie A TV rights, channel owned by Lega A?
In this regard, a crossroads opens up. So far the offers received from DAZN, Sky and Mediaset have not been considered satisfactory: they have stopped at 870 million, but Lega A is asking for 930. The alternative is that the League can start its own business with the channel, opening consequently the envelopes of potential partners, or alongside it among the proposals to the market in a hybrid formula. In short, the hypothesis of a Lega channel is gaining ground.
How much will it cost to watch Serie A?
According to what was hypothesized by the football and finance website, League A already has a commercial plan ready if you were to create a channel.
The price would already be defined with two main offers:
- 30 per month for the offer "Platinum" (with two devices)
- 20 per month for the offer "Gold"
- addition of 3 euros for onedigital option.
Furthermore, from the third year an increase of three euros would be scheduled for the Platinum offer and two euros for the Gold one.
