Serie C can change format. President Ghirelli admitted this in an interview on Italia Oggi. Specifically, it would change the Southern group.
Here are his words: "if the Council of States were to reinsert Campobasso, the championship format will change to 61 teams. However, the composition of the groups will not change". Easy to imagine, therefore, that Campobasso will be included in the southern group.
