After yesterday's hearing, the first decisions of the Council of State on Serie B. Perugia's appeal against Lecco has been rejected.
Officially Lecco can therefore celebrate the return to Serie B. As stated in the sentence: "According to the state legal system, a peremptory deadline is not a mandatory deadline in the absolute sense, the remittance in terms and/or the extension of the deadline being admitted, whatever you prefer, in the face of exceptional situations that make it objectively impossible to comply of the deadline (e.g. extensions of deadlines provided for by law in the face of exceptional events, postponement due to an excusable error in the administrative process)".
