A little while ago the officialdom arrived. Ascoli has terminated the contract with Mr. Sottil. Here is the press release.
"Ascoli Calcio 1898 FC SpA communicates the termination of the contract with the coach Andrea Sottil, who leaves the Juventus bench after having led the team to the extraordinary salvation in the ss 2020/21 and having hit the playoffs in the season just ended."
Ascoli could entrust the bench to Pippo Inzaghi for the next Serie B championship. Contacts are underway.
