Instead, if Turris does not pay by December 16th and if at the same time it does not pay salaries and contributions for the following two months, then Turris exclusion from the championship would be automatic.

There are three scenarios at the moment.

1. The Coral Club pays everything on time and does not receive any penalty because this would allow Turris to get in order, avoiding a further penalty.
2. Turris pays the arrears (i.e. INPS contributions and IRPEF withholdings for the two-month period July-August) but does not pay the amount due by December 16: in this case the consequence would be a new penalty (with the aggravating circumstance of repeat offence).
3. In the last hypothesis, the one with the most worrying consequences: Turris does not pay the arrears and does not even pay what is due for the two-month period September-October, thus certifying a new non-compliance. At this point the maximum sanction would be triggered, that of exclusion from the championship.

How would the Serie C group C standings change?

Article 53 paragraph 3 of the Noif, in fact, provides that "if a club withdraws from the Championship or is excluded for any reason, all the matches played during the relevant championship have no value for the ranking, which is formed without taking into account the results of the matches of the club withdrawing or excluded”. So, Benevento, Cerignola, the Monopoli, citing some of those at the top of the table, would all lose three points, instead Catania, Sorrento and Avellino who drew with Turris, in this way they could gain two points on the competition. In relegation zone, Turris would be considered last and therefore only the play outs would be played to decree the other relegated team. In a few days we will see what will happen.
