Team delivered to the Mayor: the choice

The decision was made yesterday evening, to everyone's surprise and following strong protests from fans following yet another home defeat.

The situation, in Group I of Serie D, risks becoming as hot as it is interesting for Reggina. Akragas, currently last in the standings, has been handed over to the Mayor of the city.

Now the Mayor will be busy finding an entrepreneur-ferryman who can allow the white-blues to at least finish the championship. If he fails in this undertaking, the Sicilian club could not complete the championship, being excluded.

Obviously this means that the standings could change because by law all matches played with this team would be cancelled.
