Sebastiano Caridi created the best traditional dove in Italy and for this he received the “Divina Colomba” award. The pastry chef from Reggio, already awarded as "The greatest pastry chef", welcomed the important victory with these words: "Sometimes a joy. Being the first classified in one of the most important competitions in Italy on the traditional dove is priceless. And now you disappear viruses that I have to go back to kneading ... ".
As often happens, the use of high quality raw materials and attention to detail lead to excellent results. A soft dough, worked with the use of mother yeast, scented with vanilla, enriched with candied oranges in the navel variant and an almond glaze, these are the characteristics of the traditional winning artisan colomba.
