“This splendid adventure with Sanremo - says Affidato - began in 2005 thanks to Mino Reitano, an artist to whom I was very attached. The award dedicated to Mia Martini
The "Mia Martini Critics Award" it is a recognition attributed by the specialized press to the song and to the performer who will obtain the best quality judgment from journalists and music critics.
The prize consists of a sculpture consisting of a lion resting on a treble clef, with a composition of flowers at the base. The work represents three main elements of the Sanremo singing event: the lion and the flowers are the symbols of the Ligurian city, while the treble clef represents la music. The award bears the name of the extraordinary interpreter of the Italian song: Mia Martini, a very talented artist with a unique voice.
Casa Sanremo, the jury of young people and music against the mafias
For home Sanremo the master goldsmith originally from Crotone created i "Soundies Awards" destined for the best video clips of the big names. The first is the "Jury Prize for Adolescents" which will be assigned by a jury of 100 boys, who will give their opinion on the songs competing at the festival.

The award will be presented by Rocco Mangiardi, witness of justice from Lamezia Terme. Casa Sanremo also has a space dedicated to social issues with the conference organized by Unicef, of which Michele Affidato is ambassador.
Behind the Scenes and the Number One
Sanremo 2019 will also award the "Number One Award - City of Sanremo" and the "Awards Behind the Scenes". To the singer VAT Zanicchi the Prize will go "Numbers One - City of Sanremo": a palm with the number one in which Entrusted has set a silver flower and a blue topaz that symbolize the flowers and the sea of Sanremo.
The jury chaired by the journalist Marinella Venegoni, awarded the "Behind the scenes”To Tullia Brunetto (press officer of many artists), Saturnino Celani (historical bassist of Jovanotti), Michele Torpedine (manager of Il Volo), Alfonso Signorini (director of Chi) and Gianni Belfiore (80 lyrics by Iglesias). The award to the career it will go to Peppino Di Capri while Giuseppe Candela will receive the “Mr. Blogger Award”. For several years the Crotone goldsmith has also been producing the awards of the AFI, the “Italian Phonograph Association” chaired by Sergio Cerruti.
