The curtain is about to rise on the 2026 Sanremo Music Festival, scheduled for February 24th to 28th. On Sunday, November 30th, host and artistic director Carlo Conti announced the official list of 30 "Big" artists competing, along with four new entries.

The lineup is a bold mix of generations, musical styles, and expectations—from the return of historic artists like Patty Pravo and Arisa, to contemporary choices like Fedez & Marco Masini, and young hopefuls like Tommaso Paradiso, Fulminacci, and Ditonellapiaga.
According to some commentators, the absence of names considered "optimal" for the final victory—that is, true recording certainties—is alarming: there are no absolute stars like in recent editions of the Festival, capable of driving the entire event. At the same time, however, there is a clear desire to give space to those who want to relaunch their careers, or to showcase new talents, with the hope that the songs—this time more than the names—can truly make the difference.
In short, Sanremo 2026 arrives with a diverse, controversial, yet promising lineup. It will be interesting to see if this edition manages to surprise—perhaps with unexpected hits—or if it leaves the audience with more questions than answers.
