The match between Sampdoria and Palermo will be important for the Sicilians who must return to victory after the home defeat against Lecco (read article below). But it will be equally important for the Dorians who are in deep crisis and with an absolutely shaky bench. Sampdoria currently has only 7 points in the standings and is in the play out zone. And the defeat in the Italian Cup (4-0) on the Salernitana pitch did nothing but complicate things [read here what happened at the end of the race] not so much for the result that could have been expected (also considering that the Campania team are a Serie A team), but for the worrying lack of play and ideas of the men coached by Mister Pirlo.
Sampdoria, if Pirlo misses, D'Angelo will also be on pole
If the victory against Palermo does not arrive, Pirlo would almost certainly be sacked. A true last resort for the former AC Milan, Juventus and national team midfielder. The very hot name of the last few hours was that of Iachini, an expert coach who knows the category well. But now two other hypotheses are making headway: Maran and D'Angelo. The latter is a profile that Sampdoria management particularly likes. Could he possibly be the main suspect after Pirlo?
