The first edition dates back to 1961 and saw the participation of 328 companies. In 1967 the Salone became international with the creation of other spaces dedicated to the sector. To celebrate sixty years an appointment at La Scala organized by the Salone, with the concert of the Filarmonica della Scala directed by Maestro Lorenzo Viotti and the participation of Roberto Bolle.
