Salaries and Irpef Reform, the increases are coming

Great news coming your wayemployed workers. In fact, the Implementation decree of the fiscal delegation with the reduction from 4 to 3 rates. For employees, therefore, they will arrive increases as regards salaries due to the merging of the first two brackets and a reduction in the Irpef levy on the second and in the hypothesis of an extension of the tax wedge cut currently in force.

Employees who earn 35 thousand euros a year will be the ones who will benefit most from this increase in their paychecks.

The increases in salaries net of the payroll will derive from two hypotheses for 2024: the extension of the reduction of the tax wedge for another year and the modification of the Irpef rate for the second income bracket. The combination of the wedge cut with the new Irpef, i.e. with the lowering of the Irpef rate from 25 to 23%, will produce an improving effect on the monthly paycheck which fluctuates from 67 euros for incomes of 15 thousand euros, to 120 euros for incomes of 35 thousand, and then reduced to approximately 22 euros per month for incomes above 35 thousand euros, which do not benefit from the tax wedge cut.
