It's time for great news, for the Prosecco. After the recognition of the denomination by the Chinese government, the words of Franco Passador also arrive. The general manager of the ViVO Group (Eastern Veneto Viticulturists) in fact told of a detail the Queen's passion for Treviso Prosecco.

The Treviso Prosecco loved by Elizabeth II

"For years our Prosecco has been highly appreciated in England, as confirmed by the constantly growing export trend towards UK”Commented Passador. Explaining how, even Queen Elizabeth, loves to toast with the bubbles of Prosecco Vigna Dogarina of Campodipietra (farm with a vineyard of 100 hectares, controlled by the ViVO Group). "It is a real honor for us, as important English newspapers report, that the Queen has chosen our Prosecco. For his personal consumption, but also for its line of emblazoned bubbles". As revealed by The Mirror, in fact, Elizabeth II has decided to launch her own brand: 200 bottles of Prosecco Sandringham, offered for sale at 15 pounds each and produced by the Campodipietra winery (Treviso).

The bottles are produced exclusively for the Queen, and have a controlled designation of origin. It is therefore a Treviso Prosecco by birth, but English by adoption. A extra dry with 11% alcohol content, which testifies the love of the subjects for Treviso Prosecco and the passion that Elizabeth II has (although the doctors have forced her to drink only on special occasions!). Precisely because of this love, England has recently reduced the taxation on Prosecco and sparkling wines (the reduction was around 1,3 euros per bottle). And Prosecco, which has long been the most loved wine by the British, is experiencing unstoppable growth. In the UK, and around the world.
