Puglia, and specifically Otranto, returns to being a film set.
Filming officially began yesterday morning for “Everyone's time", a film directed by Stefania Rocca and inspired by the famous historical novel by Maria Corti. For two days, the city's historic center will be the scene of construction work, with inevitable traffic restrictions: access and parking, even for residents, will be prohibited on some of the main streets of the old town.
Everyone's Time: Stefania Rocca's directorial debut
The director, making her directorial debut on a large-scale project, co-wrote the screenplay with Federico Calamante. The film aims to convey the narrative and symbolic power of Corti's work, set in 1480, the crucial year in which Otranto fell under Turkish siege.

The cast combines young faces and established talents: Fotini Peluso, Simone Coppo, Federica Rossellini, and Eleonora De Luca will bring to life the characters whose personal stories intertwine with the dramatic fate of the city.
Traffic regulations in the city to allow filming
The scenic needs required the temporary traffic closureIn a note, the Municipality specified that "Traffic and parking are prohibited in Via delle Torri, starting from the ditch on both sides”, inviting citizens and visitors to collaborate so that filming can take place without a hitch.
With this production, Otranto not only does it recall one of the most intense and painful pages of its history, but it also opens up again to the great cinema, offering the public an opportunity to discover, through images and words, the eternal charm of its collective memory.
