The signing of the articles of association could take place in the next few days in a well-known notary's office in Bari. A group of Apulian entrepreneurs is ready to create the first entirely private airline and "made in Puglia”, with the aim of offering national and, later, international air connections at more competitive rates.
The project, promoted by the president of Confindustria Bari-Bat, Mario Aprile, has already attracted significant support. Among the first investors are Antonio Salandra and Giacomo Mescia (renewable energy), Vito Ladisa (publishing and catering), and Antonio Albanese (waste management).
The Puglia Sky project's estimated initial capital is approximately 5,5 million euros, but this figure is expected to grow with the arrival of new partners.
Puglia Sky: More power for Brindisi and Foggia airports
The name of the company is not yet official, but the most accredited hypothesis remains «Puglia SkyThe initiative also enjoys the interest of Aeroporti di Puglia and its president Antonio Vasile, who has expressed support for the project.
The plan aims to strengthen the Brindisi and Foggia airports.
