From today, April 3, 2022, first Sunday of the month, free visits to museums and places of culture are back. The new ministerial provisions come after the Decree-law of 24 March 2022, n. 24, which sanctioned the end of the state of emergency for the Covid-19 epidemic.
First Sunday of the month: free visits to places of culture
So starting today April 3 and every first Sunday of the month, the state museums, archaeological parks and places of culture will guarantee free access to all visitors. In this way it will be possible to return to benefit from a unique initiative to promote knowledge of the Italian cultural heritage. Visits on free Sundays, such as those that will take place during ordinary visiting days, must also take place in full compliance with the new security measures provided for by the aforementioned decree.
The sites that can be visited
According to the new rules in force, from 2022 April XNUMX to access monuments, museums, galleries, parks, monumental gardens of the State, it will no longer be required to have the reinforced green pass or the basic one. Instead, the use of surgical masks will remain.
