Storytelling with photography
In 2014 Danilo Fornaro officially introduced himself to the world of photography. A photographer originally from Brindisi and particularly attached to its Puglia and its traditions.
His first exhibition, entitled Brindisi… Rome… The sweet life, proposed several shots starring some models from Brindisi in the historic Roman squares. All made with an entirely Apulian staff, just to pay homage (and promote) his land.
And in 2017, three years later, the Brindisi photographer comes back with his new exhibition.
A different fashion photography… Made in Puglia
An ambitious project that will always see Puglia as the protagonist. The shots will in fact be taken between the farms, the trulli and the Apulian squares. And they will see the collaboration of models, stylists and screenwriters linked to those same places.
The photography proposed by Danilo represents the link between art, fashion and culture with the territory. And it does so directly, with a Made in Puglia photography both for the location and for the people involved.
But not just places and traditions. The photographer from Brindisi also offers a simple and clean photography, devoid of all those digital techniques present today. No filters, no retouching, only the beauty of Apulian models in the Apulian land.
The excellences of the territory shown in simple shots with the desire to tell a wonderful land. In recent years, Puglia has in fact had a substantial increase in tourism. And there is no shortage of awards from abroad, such as the nomination of the most beautiful region in the world by National Geographic.
Danilo Fornaro and photography
Born in 1971, Danilo Fornaro left his Brindisi for Milan once he finished his high school studies. In the Milanese city he comes into contact with the world of fashion, fashion and photography. After graduating in sociology and a lot of apprenticeship, he inaugurates his first exhibition Brindisi… Rome… The sweet life enjoying great success. Thus began a series of collaborations and publications that will allow Danilo to show himself more and more in the photographic panorama. And now, with a considerable wealth of experience, the Brindisi photographer will delight photography and Puglia lovers with his new exhibition.
