Nadia Battocletti wins bronze in the 5000 final with 14'31"64. A new Italian record. The Italian finished in fourth place, but the jury disqualified the second place, the Kenyan Faith Kipyegon, for an incorrect action on another competitor. Thus the Italian climbs onto the podium, behind the other Kenyan Beatrice Chebet and the Dutch Sifan Hassan.
