Paris 2024, shame for Italy. A great final of the men's team foil, but the Italians Guillaume Bianchi, Filippo Bianchi, Tommaso Marini and Alessio Foconi lost to Japan 36 to 45.
In the other final, the 100 meters, there was nothing to do for Marcell Jacobs, reigning champion at Tokyo 2020, who finished in fifth place at 9"85. It is his third best time ever in this competition. The gold goes to the American Lyles.
