New in Serie A: the calm pause during matches is born

The IFAB has introduced a great innovation in world football. In case of particularly excited moments, there will be a "calm pause", in English called "cooling off period".

The match director may suspend the match for a few minutes and send the teams to their respective technical area. All until calm returns, but the rule also provides for the definitive suspension of the race in extreme cases.

Furthermore, an automatic yellow has been introduced for any player who gets too close to the referee and is not captain of one of the two teams on the pitch.
